Mugus is the common trade name for the small cones of the mountain pine (Pinus mugo). These are real natural pine cones, not plastic imitations. Their compact format — approximately 3.5 cm across and 4 cm tall — lets you weave them in among other material without dominating the design.
The white snow-washed finish (white wash) gives a soft wintery look. The finish leaves the natural shape and scale structure of the cone visible — not a thick paint layer, but a washed white through which the brown base shines.
The bag of 40 pieces is enough for one or two wreaths or a table piece. For larger work, a bulk pack of 400 pieces is also available.
Suitable for Christmas wreaths, Advent arrangements, decoration bowls, table pieces and moss beds. Secure with a glue gun, wire or by wedging them between branches and moss.
